I stopped by there on a Monday afternoon and the place was full, ten minute wait just to be seated, so making reservations ahead of time might be a good idea. I didn’t mind the wait, food smelled amazing. Drinks were exceptionally well made, balanced, not overly sweet. Tuna crudo was well dressed, just enough bite, not overpowering with spice or acidity. High quality ingredients, yet not a pretentious place. Just extremely clean timely consistent service. They brought us fresh silverware and fresh plates for each new course. Sweet potatoes were dressed with whipped ricotta. Everything was fresh and flavorful, very tasteful beautiful presentation. Tacos are slightly bigger than street tacos. It’s more of a meal, rather than a small snack. Can’t wait to go back, and explore their menu.

Absolutely incredible food and experience. You should sit at the counter if possible, you get to watch them plate all the food. The scallops were sweet and buttery, served in the shell - broiled medium. The chicken mole was perfect - the mole is very balanced and light. The steak was seared and broiled to a medium rare and had a consume-like sauce which paired well. Finally, for a desert like dish, the sweet potato dish is a winner. It is a nice sweet fennel requeson paired with a sweet potato with a little heat.

So good - our server made perfect recommendations for food. Sweet potato dish was probably the favorite! Drinks were top notch - especially loved the sweet corn margarita. Only slight recommendation/disappointment - we made the reservation with a note about a birthday. And the host confirmed it was a birthday celebration when we arrived but then nothing more came of that. Would’ve been nice to have a little something (complimentary drink, desert, etc.) to celebrate with (just based on what other high end restaurants in Denver do!) 10/10 will be back.

This restaurant truly lives up to its Michelin star. The guacamole was one of the best we’ve had, perfectly balanced with chimichurri sauce and cotija cheese, and pairing it with tostadas made it even better. The roasted chicken enmoladas with mole were uniquely flavorful, with the juicy, perfectly cooked chicken complemented by the rich mole sauce. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the Pacific halibut main dish (Lenguado a la Veracruzana). The broth was incredibly rich and flavorful, and the fish was cooked to perfection. Paired with buttered rice, it made for a wholesome, well-rounded dish. The cocktails were strong and enjoyable, though not particularly unique. Our only wish was for a dessert option to round out the experience. The service was impeccable, and the ambiance was vibrant, making for an exceptional dining experience. Tip: Reservations are tough to secure, but last-minute cancellations are common. Check for openings on the same day or the day before, and you’ll likely find availability.

Exemplary service, comfortable setting, and well thought out, presented and delectable food. Everything we ordered was top notch without being over the top. In addition, the value is certainly there. Especially for such a complete dining experience. It was our first visit and we will definitely be returning with friends to share in what has to be our new favorite. A visit to Alma Fonda Fina is well worth the trip.

This was our first visit. Service was exceptional. Food was divine. (I am not a scallop person and the scallops were perhaps the best seafood I've ever had.) The mushroom dish - yummy. the mole chicken, scrumptious and the steak dish.... wow. And who knew that sour dough tortillas would be so amazing. My husband's reaction to the Avocado Margherita was "WOW... oh WOW." A pleasant surprise was that the price was quite fair. HIGHLY RECOMMEND (worth the wait).
